Three ways to participate
The Valerna Vento program is available in three formats, each designed to fit the operational realities of different companies and teams.
Open Cohort
Supervisors from different companies participate together in a shared group. This format creates cross-industry peer learning — participants discover that the challenges they face are shared by leaders across sectors, and they learn as much from each other as from the program content.
In-Company Program
The program is delivered exclusively for supervisors and shift leaders within a single company. Sessions take place at your facility or a venue of your choosing. This format allows the program content to be calibrated to your specific operational context and team dynamics.
Blended Format
A combination of in-person sessions and supported self-study between meetings. Participants complete structured reflection exercises between sessions, bringing their observations and results back to the group. This format extends the learning cycle and deepens application.
What the program covers
Regardless of format, every participant works through the same six core sessions — each one built around a real operational leadership challenge.
The role shift nobody explained
Understanding what changed when you became a supervisor and what your new role actually requires of you.
Giving instructions that stick
How to communicate tasks clearly so they are understood and followed without needing repetition.
Confronting without creating conflict
A practical framework for addressing attendance, attitude, and performance issues calmly and directly.
Redistributing the load
How to manage absences and redistribute work fairly without always relying on the same people.
Reporting up without complaining
The language and structure of professional upward communication that keeps you credible and solution-focused.
Building a team that functions without you
Developing team autonomy and reliability so your presence enables rather than replaces their judgment.
